"How do you get to Carnegie Hall, young man? It's easy: practice, practice, practice."

Professional Philosophy

An enthusiastic advocate, Alex enjoys confronting novel and complex problems — almost as much as he cherishes crafting and facilitating practical and efficient long-term outcomes for business, professional, and personal clients.

Armed with a range of experiences across various legal settings, Alex comfortably balances clients' missions and strategic goals while he tacks toward desired litigation outcomes. He views litigation like the tool that it is: essential, but one among many. He instructs and advises on the statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks that affect his clients while addressing their civil and business litigation woes. Foremost, he listens.

Said differently: he strives to understand clients' values, and relevant public, business, stakeholder, and transnational interests, as much as he desires to navigate legal squalls.

In short, Alex provides sound, thoughtful guidance and tactfully articulates tough positions to organizational leadership and tribunals alike.

Personal

Growing up across various locations from California to Massachusetts to Florida, Alex developed a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and the American Experiment. His participation in the "We the People" program at Munster High School and work with the Center for Constitutional Democracy fostered his enduring passion for the United States Constitution.

Today, Alex enjoys writing both fiction and non-fiction, and cherishes time with his loving wife and beautiful child, who join him as first mate and second mate on travels around the globe. His retirement dream? Sailing home to Piraeus Port on his own thirty-five-foot coastal cruiser.
